Cooking

After all of the hard work is done and you have your deer cut up, what do you like to do with all of the meat? In my family, we use as much of the meat as possible. Some of the meat is used for jerky that we make at home. We usually cut the back straps up into deer steaks and freeze them. We also grind up some of the meat for burgers and such. We also make bologna out of some of it. Whatever is left after all of that is cut into cubes and canned. Needless to say, deer meat doesn't last long in my house.
